Bennett Impresses at World Level

The results are in for Brooke Bennett (Vikings) following her successful campaign at the World Junior Championships in Natanya, Israel.

Bennett had a busy schedule, competing in three individual events over the six-day competition.

On the second day, Bennett made her debut on the world championship stage in the 800m Freestyle, finishing with a time of 9:08.71 - just shy of her personal best of 9:07.20. Her time came in 25th overall.

On day five, Bennett competed in the 1500m Freestyle and achieved a time of 17:29.95, and placed 22nd overall.

During the final day of the championship, Bennett participated in the 200m Freestyle and concluded with a time of 2:06.98, narrowly missing her all-time personal best of 2:06.34. Out of 69 top competitors from around the world, Bennet came in at 29th!

Congratulations, Brooke, on your continued success in Israel. We’re all so proud of your results. Despite the heat, the time zone, and the pressure, you performed and did your club, your region, and your nation proud!
